The PEAKS challenge programme is designed to encourage children to practise and demonstrate the key competencies and values outlined in the New Zealand Curriculum.
PEAKS recognises the valuable learning which takes place outside of the schools day to day programme, such as students involvement in sporting and artistic clubs, regular home responsibilities and activities undertaken as a family. These are all enriching experiences which the school recognises as being worthwhile learning opportunities for both the student and their family. |
Students who successfully complete all their PEAKS challenges will receive their PEAKS trophy at the end of year graduation. Year 5's challenge is to complete 10 PEAKS and the Year 6's challenge is to complete 11 PEAKS.
